How the tier premium is calculated

What a graded pattern asks over an ordinary example of the same skin, in the same wear.

View the live listings

One listing

multiple=asking priceungraded median, same wear and StatTrake.g.$2,900$837=3.5×

Every card carries this figure. Measured against its own wear, so listings from different wears pool.

One tier

The median of its listings’ multiples, weighted by listing age. An ask that has sat unsold for months is the ask nobody took: tier 1 asks older than half a year run three to five times higher than asks under two weeks old, on every Case Hardened knife.

weight=0.5days listed ÷ 60,never below 0.1

Today counts 1, sixty days ago ½, four months ago ¼. The ungraded base is weighted the same way.

Details

  • The panel follows the Condition and StatTrak™ filters. With no filter, all wears pool.
  • Five listings make a solid figure; three or four show muted with a tilde; fewer, a dash. Hover a figure for its count and the range half its listings ask within.
  • Stickered listings are left out of the base. A StatTrak™ listing with no StatTrak™ base is measured against the plain one.
  • Named groups (Slaughter, Crimson Web, Fire & Ice ranks, Case Hardened gold) cover every listing in the group across all its tiers.

What it is not

  • Asking prices, not sales. A tier 1 asking 8× may be sitting unsold.
  • A snapshot, not a history. Resampled at the item’s next full scan.

Tiers come from community pattern guides, not from this site. see the credits.
